The Ministry of Finance must manage government financial assets, propose economic and financial policy, and coordinate and supervise these actions as empowered by law. Its main duties and functions are to:
Prepare the annual fiscal budget and issue adequate regulations for its execution.
Manage government financial assets.
Propose bills related to the management of government employees, particularly bills related to staffing, salaries, benefits and pensions.
Amortize debt and coordinate financial activities carried out within the scope of its power, for the different ministries and their related entities.
Be aware of and report on any initiative of a financial nature involving public expenditure and indebtedness before it is debated by Congress.
Participate in the negotiation of international free trade and financial agreements.
Exercise all powers and rights as conferred on it in the Central Bank Law.
The role of the Ministry of Education
The Ministry of Education is the Government’s lead advisor on the education system, shaping direction for education agencies and providers and contributing to the Government’s goals for education.

Functions ministry of agriculture
The main functions of the ministry of Agriculture are to formulate politics for the development of the agricultural, fishing and rural development sectors; and to manage the formulation of plans, programs and projects needed to develop these sectors, specially the rural areas of the country. The ministry must present plans and programs to the National Development Plan and prepare and present to the Congress of Colombia draft laws related to these sectors. The ministry of Agriculture must define with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the international negotiations related to these sectors. The Ministry is also entitled to create, organize, form and assign through resolutions duties to internal work groups and advising groups within the guidelines previously set.[4]

3.1 The role and responsibility of the agencies involved in implementation of the guidelines will be as follows:
  (a) The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports 
                    i.            will determine the eligibility conditions for recognition of NSFs; 
                   ii.            will establish categories to determine quantum and scale of assistance which may be provided to NSFs will have  to fulfill if they wish to avail of Government support. 
                 iii.            will lay down conditionalities which NSFs will have to fulfil if they wish to avail of Government support; 
                iv.            will provide assistance to NSF against agreed long term development programme
  (b) National Sports Federation
Shall be fully responsible and accountable for the overall management, direction, control, regulation,  promotion, development and sponsorship of the discipline for which they are recognised by the concerned  International Federation.  They will be expected to discharge these responsibilities in consonance with the  principles laid down in the Olympic Charter or in the charter of the India Olympic Association or the relevant  International Federation, as the case may be.

The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs (MARA) is the governmental body in the Sultanate of Oman responsible for overseeing all matters related to endowments and religious affairs.
History
The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs was originally established as the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs. The original ministry was merged with the Ministry of Justice to established the Ministry of Justice, Endowments and Religious Affairs in 1982, until they split up again in the year 1997 creating the ministry in its current name replacing the term “Islamic” with “Religious”.

Responsibilities of the Minister of Foreign Affairs
maintains relations with other states and international organizations;
represents and protects the interests of the Republic of Poland, Polish citizens and legal entities abroad;
promotes Poland and the Polish language abroad;
cooperates with Poles living abroad and supports Polish cultural and educational institutions abroad;
organizes and supervises the activities of Poland’s diplomatic missions and consulates;
proposes and develops the policies of the Council of Ministers in the field of foreign affairs; elaborates projects and drafts proposals for such policies and submits them to the Council of Ministers;
implements policies adopted by the Council of Ministers and coordinates and supervises their implementation through the relevant agencies;

represents the Republic of Poland in international human rights protection bodies;

Responsibilities and competences of the Minister of Foreign Affairs
  1. Pursuant to the regulation of the President of the Council of Ministers of 22 December 2009 concerning the detailed scope of activities conducted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Foreign Affairs:
   
directs the government administration branches Foreign affairs and Poland’s membership of the European Union and
administers Section 45 of the national budget.
2. Pursuant to the Government Administration Branches Act of 4 September 1997:
 
1) In relation to foreign affairs, the Minister of Foreign Affairs:
 
maintains the Republic of Poland’s relations with other states and international organizations;
represents and protects the Republic of Poland’s interests abroad, including before international courts and tribunals with the exception of the judicial bodies of the European Union and the Court of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA Court);
coordinates the foreign policy of the Republic of Poland, including activities of government administration bodies and their subordinate units .
2) In relation to somali’s membership of the african Union:
in the scope of government involvement in the work of the institutions of the african Union, the Foreign Minister develops somali’s AU policy strategy, initiates and prepares government documents on involvement in AU institutions and gives opinions in terms of their consistency with the strate
